I usually buy a new car about every two or three years.  I have never kept a vehicle long enough to have the vehicle warranty run out.  With the condition of the economy and the fact that I am not sure if my job will remain intact, I have decided to keep the car I have right now for awhile longer.  I paid it off two months ago and will enjoy not having that monthly payment.  I am going to look around and see if I can find an affordable vehicle warranty to cover any unexpected repairs that I may need.
