When I moved to Europe, I was afraid to start driving. I had lived in the United States my entire life, and I had several years experience when it came to driving. It’s hard to break old habits, so I was afraid that I would find myself driving on the same side of the road that I had always been accustomed to driving on. I was also afraid that I would have trouble operating a vehicle, since the steering wheel, accelerator, and brakes are all on the opposite side of the car as compared to what I am used to. After using public transportation for a while, I knew I needed to learn to drive in Europe. I also knew that I needed to purchase my own vehicle. I love my left hand drive Land Rover. I test drove several makes and models and chose the Land Rover above all the rest. It has made my entire left handed driving experience fun and easy.
