the Nova

The Vauxhall Corsa and its predecessor the Nova has earned its place in British motoring folklore as the car of choice for young men and women to attach ridiculously large exhaust pipes to. Other modifications include extra large wheels which barely fit in the wheel arches and of course the obligatory ear damaging sound system. The term ‘cruzin’ has been adopted in recent years to describe the scenario when a large collection of young people in modified cars turn up usually in a shopping mall car park and make a nuisance of themselves. The latest incarnation of the Corsa may change this, it has grown up and is based on a larger platform so maybe the car ‘modders’ will need to have a rethink.
