A Response To “Law Pulls Plug on Electric Bikes”

I have one also, Dave,, for several years.
Its very convenient, and I get some good exercise, at will, that I would otherwise, be to lazy to start
I can’t figure out what all this noise is about. I use the bike advice daily to do local shopping & banking.
I park next to the greens in the market, & inside the lobby at the bank, or the post office. The police wave-hi as I go by. I had registered it at the Police Dept when I bought it, in case it was stolen.
If I must ride on the sidewalk, I am mindful and courteous of the other people, and move carefully, and clear of them.
Pointedly, I’m usually not the only bike there, mine happens to have electric assist, so what.
You are well-mannered, or you are not.
The delivery people are probably carelessly racing through pedestrians on the sidewalks, and rightfully frightening people.
Those ‘restaurants’ who launch service of ten-minute-fried-rice, & Pizza should be properly ticketed.
”That would stop that practice very quickly
