About a month ago my wife applied to the Brea police department to become a police officer in that city. She applied for a lateral transfer and she felt she was one of the few people who was most qualified for this type of job. One fact is it takes almost forever to get through a lot of the hurdles that come along with this kind of job. Last Monday my wife got a letter in the mail that said they were going to give her an oral interview withing the next month. My wife is very happy with this news.
