When you mention crude oil futures market, the first thing that comes to mind is the volatility and profitability of the said market, due to the demands being pushed the world over. However, there is more to know in this specific commodity than just the outcome of the said product.

When you purchase oil contracts, the size of the said contract will be for 1,000 barrels of crude oil. Also, its trading has a time frame to observe, which is from 9:00am to 2:30pm Eastern Standard Time, from Mondays to Fridays only and you can see it as “CL” in the trading index.
