Initially our web site had produced fantastic results. The performance that had been predicted by the SEO people had tracked just as they said it would. Then after a few months our results began to fall off. We learned that on at least a monthly basis a web analytics consulting team should look at what has happened on our site and make recommendations to keep it operating at it’s full potential. Until getting involved I had always thought that a web site was static entity and once in place would continue to operate. I had failed to take into account our competitors and how they might have an impact on our site.
