The best RV dealer around

November 16th, 2008 by admin

Last year, I decided to buy an RV. I am going to be retiring, and I want to make sure I have something I have planned as soon as I retire so I don’t fall into depression from nothing to do. So, I have had the RV for a year, and have taken it on one trip. After this last trip, I realized that was something wrong with one of the RV parts. I just took it back to the dealer I bought it from, and everything was replaced for me at no charge. I am going to tell everyone about the service there.

Toyota Land Cruiser: Big Luxury

November 7th, 2008 by admin

If you want the ultimate in dependable SUV luxury, then you want the 2009 Toyota Land Cruiser. This is a big SUV with a powerful V8 engine and four wheel drive. However, the Land Cruiser does big safely with power steering, power brakes, and most importantly, Vehicle Stability Control to protect the maximum 8 passengers that can ride in it. It also boasts some other pretty fancy specifications like Crawl Control and a Kinetic Dynamic Suspension system. Though its fuel efficiency is not its highlight, the Land Cruiser makes up for it with its ultra low emissions, so it is still an environmentally friendly choice.

Recharging a dead car battery tips

November 3rd, 2008 by admin

Here is some useful auto maintenance info for you. Recharging a dead car battery requires jumper cables, a friend or good Samaritan, and an extra car that has a working battery. When you attach jumper cables, allow for ventilation to reduce the chance of Hydrogen gas explosion and sparks. Turn off the in-car electronics and turn off the ignition switches of both cars. Clamp the red and black metal clamps to the plus and minus terminals and ensure the cables are not running over any moving parts. Start the working car and then wait a few minutes to start the dead car. Let the car run a few minutes before turning it off. You’re now successful at recharging a dead car battery.

Private plates rules.

What rules govern the private plates marketplace? The main one is that you will not be allowed to make a car look younger than it actually is, for example if you buy registration number XX08 XXX and your car is a 2003 car you will not be allowed to assign the number to your car and your money is wasted. There is a very good reason for this rule, imagine no such rule existed, unscrupulous car traders would buy cars of 4 or 5 years of age, put private plates on them of 06 or 07 and sell them to some unsuspecting punter for a huge profit.

Ottawa Scraps Fuel-inefficient Tax on a Used Auto

October 27th, 2008 by admin

Automakers yesterday called on the Harper government to scrap an excise tax on the most fuel-inefficient used auto for sale in Canada, saying it is “unconscionable” for Ottawa to keep in place a levy that is hurting families and business owners. The so-called “green levy,” introduced last year as part of the ecoAUTO program to promote the purchase of more environmentally friendly vehicles, slapped penalties of up to $4,000 on manufacturers of the most fuel-thirsty cars and trucks. As part of the same initiative, the government started a program that paid rebates of up to $2,000 to buyers of the most fuel-efficient vehicles, such as the Toyota Yaris and Ford Escape hybrid.

Weight Limit On Your Car Seat

October 23rd, 2008 by admin

It is so important to consider the size of your children when you are looking at car seats.  I learned that the hard way.  My oldest son is a big boy.  He quickly grew out of his toddler car seats.

The seat that he was in was only safe for children who weighed from 20 – 40 pounds.  He weighed 45 pounds.  As soon as we knew that he was too heavy for the car seat we had to go to look at the other seats that are available on the market to purchase.

We were very lucky to fin one other car seat that had the 5 point harness that was rated up to 60 pounds.  I am glad that I know that he will be safe in the seat that he is in.

Do Local Motor Scooter Dealerships Charge too Much?

October 16th, 2008 by admin

I’ve been thinking of buying a motor scooter since my daughter mentioned them, and I’ve done my research, including looking into a few local suzuki scooters showrooms. Because let’s call a spade a spade here — she is not going to do anything more than pick whatever the celebrity du jour mentions on an episode of The Hills.

Dealer invoice on these mini-motorcycles seems to fluctuate wildly depending on the size and style, which I can understand accounting for the wide range of models one can buy. The fluctuation between big and little scooters is greater than the difference between a Escalade and a Swift.

Also similar to buying an automobile, values of motor scooters seem to fall off rapidly after leaving the lot. What makes this dramatic is that most scooters don’t get nearly the mileage of a car, especially the less powerful moped models.

The silver lining in that cloud is that it is pretty simple to locate motorcycles scooters online through a specialized web site. Considering this, I have to wonder if scooters from the dealership are attractively priced or if that’s the reason why these third-party sites are becoming increasingly popular.

The commercial DC kit for electric cars

October 13th, 2008 by admin

When you buy the DC kit for the electric car, you get all the connections that you need. You get the cables and the stacks as well. It is easier to get your batteries this way. You save time and effort in looking for the right cables and then putting up the connection.

Though the DC kit for knowing how to build an electric car may come at a price, it is the preferred way to power your electric car.  You will get the case, the cables and everything to get started in a bundle. All the components have been tested to fit the car and will not malfunction. Though a little expensive, they provide an easy way for conversion of electric cars.

Half Water Half Gas – Allows 60% Gas Cost Reductions

October 11th, 2008 by admin

Half Water Half Gas technology has enabled the wonderful power of hydrogen hybrid energy to be available to many people. With this introduction of this technology, comes a greater chance for more to start using the great power of Hydrogen as an renewable energy source. This is absolutely crucial, because from what we now know, the worlds resources for crude oil are over 50% depleted already. If the lowering of the need for oil as a fuel and the decrease in carbon emissions was not enough, the fact that one can drop their gas bill by up to 60% is a huge reason why many people are looking to start using this technology. As with many things, the monetary savings that can be made by incorporating this technology have been the main reason that people have been investing so far. Anyway, when it comes down to it, it really does not matter for what the reason that people start using this technology is. What really matters is that we start to see this technology used in our society on a much larger scale than what it has been so far.

Hydrogen Car Kits – Real?

October 7th, 2008 by admin

The Hydrogen Kit has enabled the cheap and affordable use of hydrogen hybrid technology for the masses. Its a great thing because now many people are able to use this technology to begin incorporating hydrogen as a fuel into their own lives. This is a huge deal, as from what we know now there is very little time left for us to come up with a viable alternative to using oil as an energy resource. Not only does this technology obviously help to reduce carbon emissions and prevent oil usage, but the fuel savings can be anywhere in between 30-60%. You wouldn’t have to be a genius to work out that most people are buying up this technology in order to save themselves money on the costs of gasoline for their car. Anyway, when it comes down to it, it really does not matter for what the reason that people start using this technology is. The main thing here to get across, is that we really need to begin using this technology in our everyday lives, and begin integrating it into our use of energy.

A testimonial

October 4th, 2008 by admin

A friend of mine was sick of spending money on gas.  He decided enough was enough, and at first started to look into hybrid vehicles.  He then said he was going to try and convert his car into using water to cut down on the gas consumption.  After he was up and running he said her really loved it.  He decided to write a series of water4gas testimonials telling others how to do the same thing.  He said he wanted to be able to share it with everyone and get the word out that there are other ways to save on the cost of gas.

Putting a fuel cell in my car

September 30th, 2008 by admin

I was on the Internet, the other day and saw an amazing video all about how to convert your car to run with water.  It was actually the water 4 gas video

This basically told you how to buy fuel cells and modify your car to burn water.  Yes that’s right, these fuel cells actually take water and convert it into gas, thus increasing your fuel economy.  You can actually gain about 40% increase in fuel efficiency.  The fuel cells themselves a very cheap to buy and come in at under $100 that she got to my car now and I’m getting amazing performance increases.

Review your antique auto insurance policy before restoring or long-distance travel

September 23rd, 2008 by admin

Check your antique auto insurance coverage before you begin to do any restoration projects. Some policies have restrictions on mileage riders. Restoration will make your car unavailable for driving during a long period of time. You need to also review your mileage rider if you plan on taking a long road trip in your antique car. You coverage can be affected if the mileage exceeds what the policy provides for each month. Long-term repairs and restoration projects might qualify you to reduce your insurance coverage to a less expensive plan such as fire and theft coverage. Your vehicle will still be covered for other situations under this type of policy.

HHO conversion

September 22nd, 2008 by admin

What will an HHO conversion do for you?  An HHO conversion will save you a lot of money on gas.  How is this possible?  It is because HHO allows you to run your car on a combination of water and gasoline.  During the HHO process, hydrogen and oxygen are separated from the water.  The resulting HHO gas is then sent to the intake manifold, creating a powerful gas that will double your miles per gallon averages.  Do not let anyone tell you that HHO is a complete scam.  Those people do not have any idea what they are talking about
