distance education . . . and Harvard? Is that a case of strange bedfellows or a match made in heaven? It could be the latter if we’re talking about Harvard Extension School (extension.harvard.edu/DistanceEd). What sets Harvard Extension School apart from other distance education options is the way it seemlessly blends traditional learning with new technology. Lectures conducted on campus are videotaped, then made available online along with course-related material. Extension students complete the same coursework as on-campus students. Much of the communication between faculty and students occurs by e-mail and course websites. Many courses also have a bulletin board or chat room to foster dialogue among students and the teaching staff. This one is worth a look, even for the most discerning students.

I am so happy that the law covers all aspects of an act. Say for example you are accused of child abuse. The court will not judge immediately but you will go thru the motion. And if you are wrongly accused well you can file the necessary lawsuit to the one accusing you. Another example is Whistleblower Retaliation, it can be done 2 ways. First is, you cannot retaliate on a whistleblower or the second one is you can file necessary precautions if you are the one being wrongfully accused. Either one it protects you especially if you are innocent.

One of the key public policy questions that must be answered in evaluating the fiscal impact of film tax credits is the question about whether the credits subsidize desired economic activity to the state? The most common variation on this question is the question of whether this economic activity would have occured locally anyway without the financial incentives such as the Iowa film tax credits. The next variation of the question is almost inevitiablly the analysis of the fact that film tax credits do create the desired economic activity but what level of financial incentive is necessary to attract the desired type of film producers. Should the incentives be higher or lower and still attract the desired level of economic activity?
