Give Nature a Hand with Greenhouse Fogging

May 3rd, 2010 by admin

Healthy growing plants need a specific balance of humidity and sunlight to maintain their health. Too much, and they will develop a fungus. Too little and they will become dehydrated, which stifles their growth. Because of the need for a balance, many garden centers use an automatic greenhouse fogging system which does not require the person to be on site. Although these systems work 24 hours per day, it is important that the fogger produces very small water droplets. This is important because larger droplets leave too much moisture on the plants themselves, whereas the smaller water droplets easily evaporate thereby giving nature a helpful hand.
