Blood Pressure

October 15th, 2009 by admin

Blood Pressure is extremely important or the blood would not be pushed around the circulatory system to keep us going. What is a problem is when the blood pressure is too high. This high blood pressure damages the tissues that cannot take the pressure. A low blood pressure is the opposite and is also a problems as not enough blood can get through to the tissue for them to get the nutrients to be unhealthy. Another problem is when the blood pressure drops temporarily when getting up from a sitting position. This is called postural hypotension and causes dizziness and fainting as not enough blood gets to the brain.
