Drinking tea may aid in defeating diabetes

Drinking tea may aid in defeating diabetes, experts say in a recent study. Scottish Scientists have discovered potentially therapeutic properties in black tea. Previous animal studies have shown that green tea prevents the development of type 1 diabetes.
Drinking tea is not a substitute for prescribed medications, but it can add positive effects to a person’s overall health condition. Also, research does not reveal that drinking mass amounts of tea is a diabetes cure. Further study will attempt to identify agents that may be substituted for insulin in type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes occurs when the body stops responding to insulin.
These studies for defeating diabetes with tea have yet to be performed in humans.
