I can barley even begin to imagine the mental and physical tole having cancer must take on people in general. From the first time you hear the doctor tell you that you have cancer begins the mental strain, all the way to painful last days. I think that if I were put in that position I would most likely choose to pursue alternative cancer treatment for myself. I do not like the idea of spending long periods of time at a sterile feeling hospital. I think I need a much more healthy atmosphere and surrounding to keep my spirits high so I could fight the cancer.
