With the elaborate weddings these days, it seems to met that everybody is trying to make their wedding more over the top than the next guy.  I am not real sure I even understand the point of all this, other than spending lots of money.  I think that when it comes my turn to give father of the bride wedding speeches one day, I am going to tell the entire wedding party that I may have had to spend a small fortune on the wedding of my only little girl, but that it was worth it.  If for no other reason than it will make her happy.
