A friend of mine has his own woodworking shop at home he can knock up pretty much any type of furniture you’d like in a matter of hours.  I remember once he found an old fork lift  create in the backyard brought it into his workshop, pulled out all the nails.  Then started to clean up all the word.  He then glued all the separate pieces together planed the wood  flat and he was left with a beautiful piece of pine, which he made a spectacular coffeetable out of.  I now have the coffee table in my living room, and my dinner guests quite often comment on what a beautiful table that it is.  If only they knew it was an old forklift crate.
