The Meanings of Coupon, Deal and Discount

If you are a frequent surfer of the Internet, you would constantly see the terms deals, discount and coupon along with your searches. These three words are often related to nearly all products and services being offered by most online stores.

So how these three (3) words differ from each other? If we are to find the definitions of these words, we would see that the term “deal” is identify as “to have to do with; to buy or sell”, “discount” means “to reduce the price of; to mark down” and “coupon” denotes “any printed voucher providing for free or reduced cost services or goods.” These words may be differ from each other in their real denotation but they all come down to giving affordable yet high quality service and merchandises, only at a part of the price or sometimes for without any charges at all.
