When dr foster and smith first started as four pet clinics in Northern Wisconsin by the three veterinarians, the institute sent out 1500 copies of a 16 page catalogue based on pets and information useful for all pet owners through out the country. It is one of the most functional and beneficial veterinary service in the country. People for various states order pet supplies and catalogues from the institute for their pets. Although Dr. Rory Foster passed away in 1987 after suffering terminally from A.L.S/Lou Gehrig’s Disease, the remaining two partners, continue making generous donations to foundations dedicated to fighting such diseases while keeping up their veterinary services
