Who would ever think that teaching a dog to fetch could come back and bite you in the butt?  No, the dog didn’t bite me. But, he scared me. The wind caught the Frisbee I threw and took it over the fence. Ranger went after it and came right back with an occupied snake trap in his mouth. Oh, he was so happy to show me what he found. “Here, Mom, take it, take it! It’s really cool and there’s something in it.” And all the while, mom is dodging, running, trying to make sure that he didn’t bring it to me. No laughing now.
