The club I was working at started to go downhill because of the change in the economy. People just didn’t want to go to the clubs anymore and pay the money to drink. When the group got together to talk about how to make things better, they decided to re-delegate different jobs to people and I was given Comedy Club Booking as a responsibility. It was nerve racking for me because I had never had to do that before but as I got into the swing of things. People were calling me to come audition for the different slots. The group was amazed as people started coming to the comedy nights.
