Maybe it had something to do with the fact that I am the oldest of 4 kids in our family and I was always taking care of them, but I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be in the medical field helping out people who really needed it. That is why I looked into Practical Nursing Schools before I was even out of high school so that I knew which direction I needed to be headed in to get me into the career field as fast as possible. I have loved every step of the way and I love my job.
