This last Christmas was a nice one for our family. My husband had gotten laid off last year, so I was afraid that the lack of gifts would have the kids in a real state of displeasure. All I can say is that I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome. Not only were the kids okay with the two gift each limit that we had set, they also pooled their allowances and purchased a Fuji FinePix J30 Digital Camera for our oldest daughter. She really wanted one, but it had not been within our budget since we had five kids to buy for. What sweethearts they were to use their money on a sibling.
