CCTV camera mounts are designed to mount the security cameras housings to different types of surfaces like walls, ceilings and also other structures.  Most of these mounts are capable to carry 25 to 35 pounds of weight and have robust construction.  It is better to have cctv camera mounts that are resistant to corrosion which prevents the damage to the camera equipment. An epoxy coating is preferred way to make a mount anti-corrosive. A good mount should also allow easy positioning of the camera housing and this can be achieved with integrated ball joint.
