With the plastic injection molding process, the cost of the manufacture of products in moderate to large quantities is low.  Through the process of plastic injection or the injection of molten plastic into a mold makes possible the production of various 2D and 3D shapes. 

The process of plastic injection molding is versatile and can be used to manufacture a wide variety of parts and products, varying from simple to complex, and with good finish.  Some of the products manufactured through this process of plastic injection are electronic enclosures, toy and motorcycle parts, appliance parts, some power tools, brackets, washers, and valves.

The time spent to produce these products is also shorter with the use of the plastic injection molding process.  And though custom steel tooling is required and this translates to additional cost, this process pf plastic injection is still cost effective as the additional cost is amortized quickly.
