My father recently hired a car hire vehicle from a rental agent, so that my brother and I could go to a concert at Sun City.  Neither of us had a vehicle at this stage, but he obviously trusted us enough as trust worthy drivers to have hired a vehicle.  I think that it must be difficult for parents to ‘let go’ of their children, as I am sure that no matter what age they are, you inevitably don’t stop worrying about them.  I promised my parents that I would text them when we took breaks and would phone if there were any concerns.  The concert was a blast, and we returned with the vehicle and ourselves in one piece.
